Coaching Webinar Series! Begins May 13 with Robert Tremblay

The Saskatchewan Amateur Speed Skating Association, in cooperation with Speed Skating Canada, is offering four coaching webinars beginning 7:00 pm CST, May13th.  The four webinars are aimed at coaches but anyone is welcome to participate, across Canada and globally.  We are proud to offer the most up to date and skilled presenters available and planning on expanding our webinar series in the near future.  Below you will find the dates, presenters and log in information.  Join our community of excellence and get a SSC PD point as well!

Wed., May 13, 7:00 pm CST Robert Tremblay, Technical Director of the FPVQ Skates:  rocker, bend, offset, blade length- join the technical director of the FPVQ as he leads a discussion on the latest information on skates related to LTAD stages and ability
Wed., June 24, 7:00 pm CST Bruce Craven, owner, Craven Sport Services Dynamic core strength:  Bruce is a nationally known presenter, business owner and physiotherapist. He will present on the importance of dynamic core strength in athletics and speed skating.  Participants will come away with many tools for coaches and athletes.
Wed., Sep. 16, 7:00 pm, CST Mike Marshall, SSC Learning Facilitator Teaching technique throughout the stages of LTAD.  Join Mike as he presents keys to teaching skating technique at all levels.  Mike is know for developing and sharing great tools for coaches.
Wed., Oct. 14, 7:00 pm CST Tim Comfort, Director, SASSA Marketing and Membership Development 5 Pillars of Club Growth.  Have you ever thought of speed skating as a product as you try to grow your club?  Tim will share the the concepts presented at the Membership Growth Summit and facilitate discussion as to how you can grow your club.
